Interfaith Initiative benefits the community in that it brings interfaith dialogue to the mainstream in way that has never been done before. It allows the younger generation to engage with world religions in a tangible way, and equips them for the diversity of the world around them. The primary objective of the program is to foster mutual respect and mutual acceptance.

Interfaith language, like any other language, includes both speaking and understanding. A more mindful language is just one of many tools to make this possible. As we engage in interfaith conversation of “Know My Religion” we will no doubt explore religious avenues only but journey into interfaith conversation is not unlike a journey around the world. Instantly we are connected with diverse cultures, customs and concepts. Such language expresses our common humanity, promotes civility and builds relationships of mutual respect and trust. Such language pursues peace.
